Texas is being robbed. I’m running for Governor to take it back.

Cut your property taxes in half starting my first term in office — then drive them all the way to ZERO.
Legalize freedom. End foreign influence. Secure the border for real.
Here’s the exact plan:
1. Cultivate Texas Act (flagship bill — already written)
Legalize real cannabis, slash your property taxes 50 % my first term, fully fund schools with zero new taxes, put Texas farmers back in control.
One bill. Four massive wins.
READ THE FULL BILL HERE

2. Eliminate Property Taxes Forever
Texas families and businesses are being crushed by property taxes. My plan ends them completely — forever — with the Freedom Fund, paid for only by the Cultivate Texas Act and Texas Freedom Act. No new taxes. Ever.

Conservative timeline: → 50 % property tax cut my first term in office → 100 % elimination by 2034

Want it faster? We have simple, proven dials:
• Remove the short 3-year resort warm-up → 50 % cut in 4 years
• Add online gaming → even faster
• Use the existing $20 billion state surplus as a bridge → big cuts starting Day 1

– Closing Loopholes Permanently: My Plan vs. Abbott's
Governor Abbott is pushing to close loopholes that let local governments raise your taxes through tricks like new debt issuance, disaster exceptions, or bypassing voter approval requirements. That's a step in the right direction—but it's still just patching a broken system that keeps Texans renting their homes from the government.
My Freedom Fund plan, funded exclusively by new revenues from the Cultivate Texas Act (cannabis legalization) and Texas Freedom Act (coastal destination resorts, sports betting, raw milk, home-built homes, Tesla direct sales, and more freedoms), goes much further:
- We deliver a 50% property tax cut in my first term and eliminate property taxes entirely by 2034.
- No new taxes on you. Ever.
- Once property taxes are gone, loopholes become irrelevant—there's no tax base left for local officials to exploit with sneaky hikes.
- Cities, counties, and schools receive stable, dedicated funding from the Freedom Fund, ending the endless scrambling and tax grabs.
Abbott's spending caps, appraisal limits, and voter rules are temporary fixes in a system locals often work around. My plan ends the game forever. Real relief. Real ownership. Real Texas freedom.

The revenue is real. The math is public. You tell me how fast you want relief — I’ll make the bills match.

3. Texas Sovereignty & Influence Shield Act (ready Week 2)
Ban hostile nations and their agents from buying our land, homes, or influence. No CCP. No cartels. No shadows. Texas stays Texas.

4. Texas Sovereignty Defense Act — 100% Secure the Border
Texas National Guard, finish the wall (federal funds first, state funds if needed), end catch-and-release, make crossing the most expensive mistake cartels ever make.

5. Texas Freedom Act
Coastal destination resorts (Coastal Freedom & The Texas Riviera), sports betting, Tesla direct sales, raw milk, home-built homes, barndominiums, container houses — if it’s not hurting someone else, government gets out.

6. True School Freedom Act
Your money follows your kid — public, private, charter, homeschool, or micro-schooling.
No zip code traps. No income caps. No red tape. Universal from Day 1.
7. End Corporate Welfare & Cronyism
No more billion-dollar handouts to Hollywood or sports teams. Compete or leave.
8. Constitutional Carry 2.0 + Stand-Your-Ground on Steroids
Defend yourself, your family, and your property — anywhere, anytime, no permission required.
This isn't a wish list

These are the actual bills I will file and pass.
Thousands of Texans have already stepped up.

Will you?
Q&A-Straight Talk on Cannabis in Texas
Q: Do Texans actually support cannabis legalization?
A: Overwhelmingly—yes. A January 2025 University of Houston poll shows:

-
79% support legalizing the sale and use of medical marijuana with a prescription.
-
69% support decriminalizing possession for personal use (21+).
-
62% support full legalization for recreational use.
These numbers are bipartisan and massive—yet Austin politicians keep blocking real reform with their crony "medical" oligopoly. Texans want freedom, real medicine, and the billions in revenue to cut property taxes 50%. That's exactly what my Cultivate Texas Act delivers: one bill for full adult legalization, Texas farmers in control, and historic tax relief.

Q: Is cannabis legal in Texas?
A: Not the way it should be. Even after the politicians' "big expansion" (HB 46), Texans are still stuck with a restrictive "medical" program: capped at just 10 mg THC per dose and 1 gram total per package—no real flower, no concentrates. Patients pay $50–$150 for watered-down designer candy, tinctures, and lozenges from the same three crony companies that have controlled everything for years (with a handful of out-of-state giants in slow bureaucracy limbo). It's better than before, but still a far cry from real relief or freedom. That's why my Cultivate Texas Act legalizes full cannabis for adults 21+, puts Texas farmers in charge, and uses the revenue to cut your property taxes 50%. True compassion means real medicine and real tax relief—not this oligopoly scam.
Q: What happens if I get caught with it today?
A: Fines, jail, or a record that screws you for life. That’s why I’m fighting to fix this.
Q: Will legalizing turn Texas into a stoner free-for-all?
A: Hell no. My Cultivate Texas Act means strict 21+ rules, testing tougher than alcohol, and cartels finally lose their black-market cash.
Q: What’s really at risk if Texas keeps dragging its feet?
A: Cartels keep selling laced garbage to our kids in high-school parking lots while we leave billions in tax money on the table. Prohibition isn’t conservative — it’s surrender.
Q: Why is Texas “medical” cannabis such a joke?
A: "Big expansion" (HB 46), it's still cruelly restrictive and crony-controlled.
-
Capped at just 10 mg THC per dose and 1 gram total per package — watered-down products that often fall short for severe pain or conditions.
-
No smokable flower, no real concentrates — just gummies, tinctures, lozenges, and overpriced "designer candy" costing $50–$150 a bottle/package.
-
In January 2026, patients are still stuck with the same three crony companies controlling 100% of supply (the nine "new" ones got conditional approvals last month, but they're mostly out-of-state giants buried in DPS bureaucracy — no new medicine flowing yet).
-
And yes, our state police (DPS) still oversees who gets "medicine" in this oligopoly scam.
That's not compassion — that's cruelty dressed up as progress. Real relief means full legalization for adults 21+, Texas farmers in charge, and billions in revenue to cut your property taxes 50%. That's the Cultivate Texas Act.

Q: What are the actual medical benefits?
A: Combat veterans treat PTSD without getting hooked on opioids. Kids with seizures get fewer attacks. Cancer patients keep food down. Two major federal reviews and thousands of Texas doctors agree: cannabis is legitimate medicine. Politicians shouldn’t play doctor.
Q: How can I help?
A: Talk to your friends, share this page, volunteer, chip in a few bucks, and show up to vote.
Change starts with Texans who are fed up.

Q&A - Reviving the Texas Coast
Texas Freedom Act
Coastal Freedom & The Texas Riviera

Q: What about gambling—do Texans want casinos and sports betting too?
A: Absolutely. The same UH poll found:

-
73% support destination resort casinos.
-
60% support online sports betting.
-
56% support sportsbooks at pro venues.
Texans are ready for more freedom and economic wins—but leadership drags its feet. Imagine combining cannabis revenue with gambling taxes: even bigger property tax cuts without touching schools. My plan starts with cannabis legalization to prove we can regulate responsibly and fund relief—putting Texans first, not cronies or cartels.

Q: Why focus destination resorts on the Texas Coast?
A: Because the Coast is getting hammered — hurricanes, flooding, skyrocketing insurance, and property taxes driving retirees across the border. Four world-class, Texas-owned destination resorts in Galveston, Corpus Christi, South Padre Island, and Port Aransas will pump $4–6 billion in new construction and 30,000+ permanent coastal jobs into the exact region that needs it most. That’s welders in Port A, hotel workers in Corpus, and shrimpers finally getting real flood-insurance relief from billions in new Texas revenue.
Q: Won’t this bring crime and sleaze to our family beaches?
A: Look at Biloxi and Gulfport — after Katrina, destination resorts rebuilt the entire Mississippi Coast faster and cleaner than FEMA ever could. Crime actually dropped because people had real jobs instead of desperation. We’ll do it better: Texas-owned resorts, ironclad Gaming Commission oversight, and every penny of new tax revenue earmarked for seawalls, flood barriers, and buying out flood-prone homes. Your beach stays family-friendly; your wallet gets hurricane-proof.
Q: Texans already gamble in Louisiana — why change it?
A: Because every weekend hundreds of thousands of Texas dollars flow straight across the Sabine River into Louisiana schools and roads while our coastal schools scrape by. Houston-area gamblers alone dropped $2+ billion in Lake Charles last year. That money should be rebuilding Galveston’s seawall, widening Corpus highways, and cutting coastal property taxes in half — not funding Cajun casinos.
Q: What about gambling addiction and moral concerns?
A: We already have offshore boats, tribal casinos, and three-hour drives to WinStar. Bringing it home means we finally regulate it: mandatory addiction programs, on-site counselors, and a big slice of revenue going straight to mental health and veteran services along the coast. We protect people and we prosper — that’s the Texas way.
Q: Can the Texas Coast even handle big resorts?
A: We already host Spring Break, Shrimporee, Sandcastle contests, and cruise ships. Four capped, world-class destination resorts with water parks, fishing charters, and live Texas music venues? That’s not changing the Coast — that’s upgrading it into the crown jewel it was born to be. Every new hotel room means more revenue to finally fix Highway 288 and I-45 so you’re not stuck in traffic after the rodeo.
Bottom line:
Coastal destination resorts aren’t about slots — they’re about survival and strength.
They keep Texas money in Texas, put our kids in better schools, and make our Coast hurricane-proof.
Let’s stop sending billions to Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Let’s build the Texas Riviera — four resorts, Texas-owned, voter-approved — right here, right now.
Ready to make the Coast the crown jewel again?

Q&A: Straight Talk on Mental Health, Veterans, and Street Safety

Q: What will you do about homeless people with severe mental illness who are committing crimes and making Texas streets unsafe?
A: Texas has too many folks suffering from untreated severe mental illness living on our streets, cycling through jails, and posing risks to themselves and others. Voluntary therapy is great for those who can engage — and we'll expand it for veterans through TVC and VA partnerships. But for dangerous repeat offenders without insight into their illness, talk therapy handouts aren't enough. I'll push for expanded use of involuntary crisis intervention and secure treatment beds in our state hospitals — stabilization first, then pathways to housing and recovery. No more open-air asylums on Texas sidewalks. Revenue from the Cultivate Texas Act and Texas Freedom Act will help fund this without raising taxes.
